Shimon has close to two decades of financial, investment and capital markets experience. In 2022, he founded Three Strands Capital Group, a boutique merchant and investment banking firm, and Three Strands Advisors, a corporate growth advisory firm. Previously he spent 17 years in various investment banking positions at a full-service investment firm, the last 10 of which he served as Head of Investment Banking where he oversaw the firm’s corporate finance, investment banking and corporate advisory activities. His experience spans equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, private placements and public offerings. He has extensive expertise with early stage to lower middle market companies, both public and privately held. He regularly advises C-level executives and Boards of Directors on matters of corporate governance and strategy, and Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office investors on investment strategy and execution.  He currently serves as Director of Venture and Private Equity for a New York based single family office.  He holds the Series 7, 24, 63, 66 and 79 licenses and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and is a registered Representative of Finalis Securities LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC.
